Welcome Wagon
Reviews and Complaints
Total scam
Smoke and mirrors. Not one lead generation, and I can guarantee new movers are NOT receiving what the claim to be sending.
Stay away! After attempting to cancel I receive one sentence emails saying " we do not cancel first year contracts" I assume they will attempt to send me to collections from reading other reviews, we will handle that when it happens.
We are not paying our invoices and STILL waiting for a response from them! It is our own fault for falling for the sales pitch, in theory it sounds great, but this is a business with intentional malicious methods designed to fleece money out of small business owners.
Preferred solution: CANCEL RELATIONSHIP - VOID BALANCE DUE - KEEP THE MONEY YOU STOLE FROM ME ALREADY
Welcome wagon sucks!!!
Do not use this company. They make promises and don’t keep them. No ROI Useless advertising, spend your money elsewhere!!!!
Great Sales Pitch and it only cost me $1020.0
After the great sales pitch and signing a contract to use their service with all the benefits it has, like a monthly list of all the New homeowners in the area, with address and phone numbers, how could I go wrong? OPS, I give them my credit card number and that's a license to steal your money I guess, at least that what I call it when you pay for something and get NOTHING!
They was paid in full 5/25/2017, after I called to tell them, I agreed to pay in full to get the special discount and they had charged my card 5/9/2017 for 1st payment. And that was after I had approved my ad copy. So I called the home office as I could not get the sales person to call me back, left messages, no reply. When I talk to Steve as I recall, he advised I had already had coupon books sent out and he would send a list to me that day, but it was normal to not get the list until the month was over.
Never got the list he was going to send that day and it now July 25th, 2017. I would think the June list should be printed.
Our coupon in the Welcome Wagon Book is for a Free Polar Pizza that retails for $15.99 and we still have not had to give any of them away! Not sure if the BBB has them on the DO NOT PURCHASE list or not, but beware, It's a rip off!
- Sales pitch was nice
- Sales pitch was not truthful about what you get

Absolutely the worst advertiser around - fraudulent advertising
I paid this sorry company for 6 months to the tune of 400 per month and I found that not one person came into my restaurant from them. Not one customer had ever heard of them and when I moved, they emailed ME the email and I was not in the zip code.
I was 20+ miles away from my restaurant. They are misusing and abusing small business every day and should be put out of business IMMEDIATELY.
We called some of the numbers on the list who wer supposedly NEW home owners - one had lived there 20 years and others too. Owner Small business restaurant.

Welcome Wagon - 70% of Customers Renew
For the past 8 years Welcome Wagon has been under new ownership and has a high quality aggressive 6 touch point outreach to new movers, using both print and digital means. It's impressive how committed Welcome Wagon is to the success of their clients.
I have been working as a representative with Welcome Wagon for 1 1/2 years now and am very impressed with the integrity, outreach, customer service and leadership of the company. Problems are immediately dealt with. When you call Welcome Wagon you get a real person on the line! Actually, this is the best company I have worked for!
(I notice that the WW complaints on this site are very very old. - Before the company was under new leadership.)

A total waste of money
Does anyone have the key to getting out of a Welcome Wagon Contract? After 4 months and $1,500 not one response.
I get more response out of a $5 Facebook Boost. They send me a list of new residents but I don’t think they send them anything. Also, I had to send them the photos and design for my ad which they were supposed to do. Any suggestions?
From what I read, no one gets any response and most doubt they fulfill their side of the contract. Help! I want out of my contract now. Anyone have anything that worked?
This has been a total waste of my money.
If anyone has been successful getting rid of their contract, I would appreciate any information. Thank you.
SCAM COMPANY that ripped me off!
Welcome wagon told me that I would have artwork sent to me to review before my ad went out. I put alomost $4000.00 down on a 1 year contract and I was told I would have the art department contact me.
After 2 weeks of no one calling me back, I review the company I greater depth and discovered it was a scam company. I called several times and tried to cancel my contract. I sent multiple emails trying to cancel. I even offered to let them keep my down payment if they would cancel my contract.
They refused. My salesperson Darcy told me when we signed we could cancel at any time! SHE LIED! She ripped me off.
To this day I still have not gotten one call from anyone seeing my ad. Now, after over 6 months, they finally send me an ad they say they've been running since day one. Now they are threatening legal action for non payment of the balance on the contract.
I have been ripped off! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

Welcome Packet Mailed to Dead Person
The reviews I've read on this site are from businesses that believe they were misled about WelcomeWagon.com's terms of service. As a consumer, I can report that WW does a ***-poor job of providing accurate marketing leads.
On 1/14/17, my address received a "Welcome to the Neighborhood" packet. Say what? 1) I have lived at this address for nearly 4 years. I'm not new to the neighborhood.
2) The packet was addressed to my late husband, who died 11 years ago. 3) My late husband never resided at this residence, and his name doesn't appear on the deed or the mortgage.
4) Only one of the seven businesses advertised in the welcome packet was in my ZIP code. If this is the type of sloppy marketing lead a WW client will receive, you as a business owner are wasting your marketing budget.
Preferred solution: Remove my address permanently from your database.
Avoid this company!!!!! SCAM
Like most new businesses, getting the word out about who you are, what you do and where you're located is paramount to surviving. We had a nice rep show up in our clinic.
She was very polite and professional and hooked us line and sinker. We told her (verbally and written in an email) that we would like to give this a try for 6 months - only. She agreed and told us our clinic would appear in this month but we could have the list of new residents for the current month we signed up. That was lie number one.
As it turned out, we were not allowed to have that list. This first list we did receive, we sent out about 100 direct mail post cards to have about 1/3 of them come back as incorrect information. We never received one call nor one patient from this marketing campaign. Then...
six months later, we are still being billed. I called and told Welcome Wagon, I only agreed to 6 months as I indicated in writing. I was told by the rep that it renews automatically and I should work the lists harder. I am STILL trying to get this company to stop billing me - to no avail.
I would recommend any new clinic/business to AVOID THIS COMPANY!!!!! IT IS A WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY!

Welcome Wagon Customer Care Review
I've used WW for the last year and a half and its been positive. My rep was great she warned me if the auto renewal.
She was upfront about the list and said it's not perfect and she waived the fee for the list. She convinced me to offer something free in my ad after the renewal and it made a hugh difference.
A total Rip Off
I was sold a bill of goods. The salesperson came by and guaranteed positive results.
We had to sign up for 6 months that pre paid in the amount of $1543.20. We were assured that this was a trial program to see if it was a benefit. We were told it was for only this period of time that was prepaid, We then received a bill for $1730.10. We called to complain but were told that the extension was automatic and was on the back page.
We were lied to up front. By the way we got exactly 1 new customer in the period we pre paid. This is a scam and a rip off. Please beware of doing any business with this group.
It is really a total rip off. We are located in Katy TX 77450.
Welcome Wagon - Service Review
Sounded like. great way for a small business to get their name out there affordably.
I was patient for 6-8 months as the mailers were supposedly going out. At one point I drove the route to all the homes on the list. Many were defunct businesses & locations that didn't exist. After contacting WW and expressing my dissatisfaction, they agreed to lower my monthly rate.
After 1 year, I received 1 phone call for a service I didn't offer.
Ended up going toncollections and Insettled for 1/2 of the balance I owed them. Complete waste of money, stay far away and spend your marketing dollars elsewhere.
