AFTER CONTACTING OUR BUSINESS, WELCOME WAGONS REGIONAL MANAGER (LORI GABLE) CONTACTED US WE SIGNED UP FOR WHAT SHE CALLED A TRIAL CONTRACT.

LORI GABLE SAID WE COULD LEAVE THE RPROGRAM AT ANY TIME WITH OUT HAVING TO SIGN A LONG TERM CONTRACT.

WE RECEIVED ZERO CARDS SENT OUT BY WELCOME WAGON. DURING THAT 90 DAYS PERIOD.

WE CALLED TO CANCLE THE TRIAL PROGRAM WE WERE TOLD THAT WE HAD SIGNED A CONTRACT THROUGH FEB. 2012 THAT WAS AUTOMATINGLY TAKEN OUT OF OUR BUSINESS ACCOUNT.

i HAVE CONTACTED THEM SEVERAL TIMES AND NO ONE REPLIES.

DO NOT BE FOOLED BY THE GOOD OLD

WELCOME WAGON OF THE 50'S AND 60'S

THEY ARE A GROUP OF LIARS AND THEIVES.

THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF AND REFUSE TO COMMUNICATE WITH YOU.

They give you fake addresses. Welcome wagon is a scam and they charge even after you cancel!

I agree with the above review. The Welcome Wagon is totally not what they claim to be when pushing this "advertising" onto new businesses.

They refuse to stop the deductions from your account, and like the above I too never received 1 coupon. In an area that has hundreds of dogs, I find it hard to believe that not one would take advantage of a $25.00 off coupon. In my opinion they are a bunch of crooks. No wonder their salesmen left and started their own business...It pays to say hello.

If you are thinking about this as a means of advertising DON"T. For over a thousand dollars and to have gained 0 clients this is nothing but a scam.

Well one or two bad experiences doesn't say it all, there are thousands of people who use welcome wagon and renew every year. I own an Apple Bees and I read my contract I knew it was a year...I knew it automatically renewed and that I had to put in writing to cancel but I am going on my 3rd year and I get tons of business from it.

I am just saying it is important to read all contracts. I got my lists and we added them to our database and we mailed more coupons so we really get a lot from welcome wagon i do not know who Lori is but sounds like she is the problem.

My rep is always available and I get 50.00 for each lead i give her. So this is just a response so that 2 or 3 people dont ruin the opportunity for someone else.

Linda Farley - that's the very same person we were referred to when we called to complain about being "automatically renewed". We have left multiple messages and never received a return call.

I had to call my credit card company and get their charge removed. Well, they charged it again the next month. I am going to have to change my credit card number to stop these thieves and liars. We never got one referral from these people.

They give you a song and a dance and then they steal your money.

Liars and thieves. Stay away from Welcome Wagon.

Welcome Wagon is nothing but a scam, as the reviwes before, we signed up for six months. We were told we would be notified if we wanted to renew.

No cards every received, when i called to cancel I talk to the Main director Linda Farley and she said the same thins as Lori, I have not record of your call i then emailed them many times just to have proof. When i called again she denied ever talking to me which was ridiculous, but when i told her that i had proof of my email and conversations with her she right away said " okay i will close the account and refund you" she never did they kepy charging the business account. We had to close the account so these scammers would have a hold of it. Finally i sent an email letting them that we were going to file a lawsuit agaisnt them.

At that time they said " hold one sec, I talked to Linda she will shut it now and refund you" DO NOT BE FOOLED BY THESE PEOPLE!!! THEY ARE NOTHING BUT A BUNCH OF SCAMMERS!!!

I called and asked that my contract be cancelled 30 days before the contract was renewed. I spoke with a man who said that it was no problem and that it would be taken care of.

30 days later my credit card was charged again. When I called them a second time I was told that I needed to request in writing that the contract be cancelled and that they had no record of my previous call. To make matters worse, they said that my contract had just been automatically renewed and that they could not cancel the contract for another 6 months. My initial call would have been enough notice to cancel before the renewal if I'd been told that it needed to be in writing.

The only explanation that I can come up with for the initial phone call for which there is no record is that the whole thing is a big scam. And by the way in a 2 year period of time I got maybe 5 clients from welcome wagon, which doesn't even come close to the amount of income needed to justify the advertising expense.
